Turners Novices’ Chase Preview

Johnny Dineen: “I think Facile Vega could run here and he’d be one of the bets of the meeting. He has a real class edge over this field. Ginny’s Destiny is a very good handicapper but Facile Vega has the class and the step up in trip wouldn’t do him any harm. I’d fancy him strongly here.”

David Casey: “If Facile Vega runs here, I still have a lot of faith in this horse. The race lacks a lot of depth and is a very winnable race. Ginny’s Destiny is a decent horse coming from the handicap route and if Grey Dawning ran here, it’d be interesting. But without him it’s a weak race. Whatever Willie runs here, I’d fancy.”

Robbie Power: “I like Facile Vega. This is the race for him. He travelled so strongly at Leopardstown the last day and plugged on up the straight, he’s crying out for a step up in trip. If he comes here, he’ll take plenty of beating.”
